Internship Description:
Every year the World Family Policy Center hosts a forum at BYU. We invite over one hundred United Nations and government officials and scholars to this event. As a photography intern you will be responsible for taking and editing pictures of our delegates, both formal and candid. Formal pictures will be used to compile a delegate directory distributed during the Forum. Candid pictures will capture the forum proceedings, lunches/dinners, breaks, entertainment events, etc. Candid pictures will be used for centerpieces during forum dinners. They will also be posted on the WFPC website for promotion and/or advertisement. We want to capture every moment of the forum with the best quality.
Qualifications:
| Experience in the use of full functions of a camera, apt in both candid and formal shooting styles. | |
| Experience in photo editing on the computer. | |
| Proficient in Photoshop. | |
| Skilled at working with computer and navigating the internet. |
Qualified candidates should be personable, dependable, and creative. Since most of the work needs to be completed the same day, individuals should work well under pressure, work quickly and meet short deadlines while producing quality results.
Hours/week:
The forum will be held July 7-9. You need to be available from 8 a.m. till 9 p.m. every day of the forum. After the forum the hours will be reduced to 20 per week.

Compensation:
Our currency is the form of experience interacting with high-level diplomats, providing opportunity for meaningful contribution to the Forum environment, and very strong resume-building experience. Not to mention wonderful memories!
